6. Role of Educational Institutions

Eskoler provides technology solutions that enable educational institutions to manage their academic and administrative operations digitally.

In many cases, participating educational institutions determine:

  • which users receive access,

  • how educational records are maintained,

  • which features are enabled,

  • how long records should be retained,

  • and when user accounts should be activated, suspended, or deleted.

Accordingly, educational institutions may have primary responsibilities under applicable data protection laws for certain educational records maintained through the Platform.

Eskoler processes and manages information as necessary to provide the services requested by participating institutions while implementing appropriate safeguards to protect such information.

Where required by applicable law or contractual arrangements, requests relating to educational records may be coordinated with the relevant educational institution before action is taken.

  • Route visibility

Where supported by the operating system, the Platform may continue receiving location updates while the driver tracking service is active in the background to provide uninterrupted transport monitoring.

Other Users

Students, parents, teachers, administrators, and general staff are not continuously tracked merely because they use the Platform.

Location access for these users, if ever requested by a future feature, will always be accompanied by an appropriate explanation and, where required, user consent.

9.4 Calendar

The Platform may request permission to access your device’s calendar to allow you to:

Calendar entries are created only after you initiate the action.
