3. Who Can Request Account Deletion?
Account deletion requests may be submitted by:

Accordingly, where appropriate, Eskoler may forward the deletion request to the concerned educational institution for review and verification.
The school may be required to:
- confirm the identity of the requester,
- verify account ownership,
- determine whether educational records must be retained,
- authorize deletion where appropriate,
- identify any legal or administrative restrictions.
This process helps ensure that student records, academic information, and institutional data are handled responsibly and in accordance with applicable laws and school policies.
7. Processing Timeline
Upon receiving a complete and verifiable deletion request:
- Eskoler will acknowledge receipt of the request.
- The request may be forwarded to the relevant educational institution within 48 business hours, where school verification is required.
- Once all required verifications have been completed, Eskoler will begin processing the deletion request.
The overall processing time may vary depending on:
- verification requirements,
- school response times,
- legal obligations,
- technical considerations,
- operational requirements.
Users will be notified of significant updates using their registered email address or other authorized communication channels.
8. What Happens After Approval?
Once the request has been approved and all verification requirements have been satisfied, Eskoler will take appropriate steps to:
- deactivate the account,
- remove or anonymize personal information where applicable,
- terminate access to Platform services,
- invalidate authentication credentials,
- remove access from connected applications where appropriate.
Certain records may continue to be retained where required by law, educational regulations, financial obligations, audit requirements, fraud prevention, security investigations, or other legitimate purposes.

Once an account deletion request has been approved and processed, Eskoler will make reasonable efforts to permanently delete or anonymize the personal information associated with the account, where such deletion is technically feasible and legally permissible.

Subject to school ownership and applicable legal requirements, deletion may include:

10. Information That May Not Be Deleted
Certain information cannot always be deleted immediately or completely due to legal, educational, contractual, operational, or security obligations.
Depending on applicable laws and institutional requirements, Eskoler may retain certain records including:

- Attendance History
- Examination Results
- Report Cards
- Academic Performance
- Promotion History
- Certificates
- Fee Records
- Library Records
- School-issued Documents
- Official School Communications
These records generally belong to the participating educational institution and may be subject to educational regulations or institutional record-keeping requirements.
10.2 Financial Records
Where applicable, Eskoler may retain:
- Payment Records
- Tax Records
- Invoices
- Refund Records
- Transaction History
- Accounting Documents
These records may be retained to comply with applicable financial, taxation, auditing, or legal obligations.
10.3 Security Records
For the protection of the Platform and its users, certain security-related information may continue to be retained, including:
- Login History
- Security Logs
- Audit Trails
- Device Information
- Fraud Prevention Records
- Abuse Reports
- Incident Investigation Records
Such records are retained only for legitimate security, compliance, and legal purposes.
10.4 Legal Compliance

11. Effect of Account Deletion
Once an account has been permanently deleted:

12. Situations Where We May Delay or Decline Deletion

13. Withdrawal of a Deletion Request
A user may withdraw an account deletion request before the deletion process has been completed, provided that processing has not yet reached an irreversible stage.
Once personal information has been permanently deleted or anonymized, Eskoler may not be able to restore the account or recover the deleted information.

14. User Responsibilities

- Process eligible requests within a reasonable timeframe.

- Notify the requester upon completion of the deletion process, where reasonably practicable.

Eskoler will process account deletion requests fairly, consistently, and in accordance with applicable laws, contractual obligations, and institutional responsibilities.
16. Educational Institution Responsibilities
Since Eskoler operates as a technology platform for educational institutions, participating schools play an important role in the account deletion process.
Schools may be responsible for:
- Verifying the identity of the requester.
- Confirming account ownership.
- Determining whether educational records must be retained.
- Approving or declining deletion requests relating to institution-managed accounts.
- Updating institutional records where required.
- Communicating with parents, students, or staff regarding educational records.
Eskoler cannot delete or alter institutional records where doing so would conflict with applicable laws, educational obligations, or the lawful instructions of the participating educational institution.
17. Tracking Your Request
After successfully submitting an account deletion request:
- Your request will be reviewed by Eskoler.
- Additional verification may be requested, if necessary.
- Where applicable, the request will be forwarded to the relevant educational institution for verification.
- Upon completion of all required reviews, Eskoler will begin processing the request.
- You will receive updates through your registered email address or other authorized communication channels.

18. If Your Request Is Rejected
Eskoler may decline an account deletion request where:

Eskoler shall not be liable for any loss of information, inability to access services, or other consequences arising from a verified account deletion request initiated by the user or an authorized representative.
Users are encouraged to download or retain any information they may require before submitting a deletion request, where such functionality is available.
Eskoler shall also not be responsible for the continued retention of educational records that are required to be maintained by participating educational institutions or by applicable law.

- changes to verification procedures;
- educational requirements;
- security enhancements.
